Why do you use sliding scale?

At Mutiny Market we're all about breaking down barriers for artists. That's why we decided to implement a sliding scale payment system for our vendors. We believe that every artist deserves the opportunity to showcase their unique handmade goods, regardless of their financial situation. With our payment system, artists can pay based on a range of income levels, making it accessible and equitable for everyone. We want to make it easier for artists to access our platform, so they can connect with our vibrant community and showcase their talents to the world.

So do I have to pay??

As a not-for-profit organization, we're committed to ensuring that all artists have access to our platform and community-based art markets, regardless of their financial situation. That's why we've implemented a sliding scale payment system for our vendors. We believe that every artist deserves the opportunity to showcase their unique handmade goods and connect with our vibrant community, regardless of their ability to pay.

It's important to note that while our sliding scale payment system is designed to be accessible for all artists, we do require a payment to cover our costs as an organization. As a not-for-profit, our goal is to support the artistic community by providing quality events and marketing efforts to elevate their work. We believe that our sliding scale system strikes the right balance between accessibility and sustainability, and we're proud to offer this opportunity to all artists who want to share their talents with the world.
